LOUISA HANCOCK EPPERSON

On Sunday evening, November 23, occurred the death of Louisa C. Epperson at the home of her daughter, Mrs. TT Northcut, 818 East Wabash Avenue. Mrs. Epperson was the relict of the late Matthew Epperson. She was born in Bath County, Kentucky and moved to Indiana with her parents at the age of four years. She was married to Matthew Epperson December 29, 1845 and there were born five children, EH Epperson of Champgaign, Ill; Mrs. Amanda Wright, deceased; Mrs. EW Cope of Mace; Mrs. TT Northcut of this city and FA Epperson of Ladoga, Ind. The deceased was a member of the ME Church and lived a consistent and devoted life. The funeral services were held at nine a.m. Tuesday, conducted by Rev. Ake of this city and the interment was at the Old Salem Cemetery.
